Definition and classification of hydroforming
Hydroforming, also known as hydraulic forming, is a plastic processing technology that uses liquid as a transfer medium or mold to form the workpiece. According to the different liquid medium used, hydroforming can be divided into water pressure forming and oil pressing. According to the different ingredients, hydroforming is divided into tube hydroforming, sheet metal hydroforming and shell hydroforming. The forming pressure of sheet metal and shell hydroforming is lower, and the pressure of tube hydroforming is higher, also called internal hydroforming.
