Manufacture pipe bender
The bending machine produced by our company can bend the pipe as well as the sheet. In the case of pure bending, when the pipe with outer diameter D and wall thickness 3-120mm is bent under the action of external moment M, the outer pipe wall of the neutral layer is subjected to tensile stress and the pipe wall becomes thinner. The tube wall inside the neutral layer becomes thicker under tensile stress. Moreover, the shape of the cross section changes from round to approximately oval due to the resultant force and action. When the deformation is too large, the outer wall of the pipe will crack, and the inner wall of the pipe will wrinkle.
The degree of deformation depends on the relative bending radius R/D and the relative thickness t/D. The smaller R/D and T/D values are, the larger the deformation degree is. In order to ensure the forming quality of pipe fittings, the deformation degree must be controlled within the permitted range. The bending forming of pipe fittings depends on the mechanical properties and bending method of the material, and also considers the use requirements of pipe fittings. The forming of pipe fittings should include the following contents:
The large elongation deformation in the outer tensile deformation zone of the neutral layer does not exceed the plastic allowable value of the material and cause rupture.
In the compression deformation zone inside the neutral layer, the thin-walled structure under the action of tangential compressive stress does not wrinkle due to instability.
If the pipe has the requirement of ellipticity, control its section distortion;
Control the forming of wall thinning if the pipe has the strength requirement to withstand internal pressure.
